Analysis of Water quality using Physico-Chemical Parameters Hosahalli tank in Shimoga

Abstract

This Paper deals with the Physico - chemical Parameters of Hosahalli Water Tank in Shimoga District, Karnataka. Monthly Changes in Physical and Chemical Parameters Such as Water Temperature, Turbidity, Total Dissolved Solids, pH, Dissolved Oxygen, Free Carbon dio for a periods of one year from 1st January 2007 to 31st December 2007. All Parameters were within the permissible limits. The results indicate that the tank is Non-polluted and can be used for Domestic, Irrigation and Fisheries.
